Curious about Central Asia, I wanted to travel there but I was lucky enough to live there. I had the chance to live in Dushanbe (capital of Tajikistan) and to work as a teacher. I went back there in 2014 to photograph this country that I already knew well; I drew from it a photographic work and a subject of illustrated conferences. My last stay in Tajikistan dates back to 2016, when I wanted to distribute this book to all those who appear in it or have helped me in this journey and these achievements.
